Create and Manage Campaigns

Venga is packed with different types of marketing campaigns, allowing you to reach clients in every part of their client journey. Class alerts keep your clients informed of any special announcements or changes without the need to contact each client individually.

Create A  Campaign

Venga’s Campaign Builder is broken down into four sections; Campaign Type, Audience, Messaging, and Send Details. Each of these sections appears in the section header at the top of Campaign Builder.

  • A check mark ✓ in the section header indicates the section has been completed.
  • warning ⚠︎ in the section header indicates that the section is missing information.
  • Click the section header to switch between sections.
  • Save a Draft at any time with the Save Draft button at the bottom left of the Campaign Builder.
  • Click Advanced Send Options on the Send Details page to set an email address to be cc’d on campaign messages.
    Emails added as a cc will receive a copy of every campaign email sent.

To create a campaign:

  1. Click Campaigns and select Create a Campaign.
  2. Select a Campaign Type.
  3. Enter a name for the campaign.
  4. Choose the send method for the campaign and select Send Just Once or Automated Daily Campaign (this option is not present for all campaigns).
  5. Choose the Campaign Audience.
  6. Enter campaign messaging and select a template.
  7. Add a daily send time (Automatic Daily Campaigns only) and confirm Send Details.
  8. Send a test email.
  9. Click Schedule Campaign to Send or Save Draft.

Click Campaigns and select Create a Campaign.

Select a Campaign Type. The send options for each campaign appear below the campaign name.

Enter a name for the campaign. Click Save to continue.

Choose the send method for the campaign and select Send Just Once or Automated Daily Campaign (this option is not present for all campaigns). 

Click Next: Choose your Audience to continue.

Choose the Campaign Audience. The specific options available in the Audience section depend on the campaign type. Click Next: Write Messaging & Choose Templates to continue.

Enter campaign messaging and select the email template(s) to be used with the campaign. If the client preference option was selected in step 4, separate messages will need to be created for email and SMS.

  1. Select the Email Template to use with the campaign.
  2. Enter the email Subject Line.
  3. Enter the send from name and send from email.
  4. Create the campaign message(s). Use the buttons in the message window header to insert images and buttons, and style and justify your text, images, and buttons (email only).


Click Next to continue.

For Automated Daily Campaigns, select a daily send time. For all campaigns, confirm that the information in the Campaign Summary is correct. Summary sections that display a warning symbol ⚠︎ will need to be completed before the campaign can be sent.

Click the Send a Test button to send a test email to yourself. Confirm that the email and template display as expected.
Note: You can send test emails to multiple email addresses by separating them with a comma.

Click Schedule Campaign to Send to begin sending the campaign immediately. Click Save Draft to save your progress without activating the campaign.

Select Send Campaign Now to activate the campaign immediately. Select Schedule for Later to select a future activation date.

Edit an Existing Campaign

Campaign configuration can be edited at any time.

To edit an existing campaign:

  1. Click Campaigns and select Campaign Manager.
  2. Click the Menu (three dots) button next to a campaign in the list and select Edit Campaign.
  3. Edit the Campaign Configuration.

Click the  Menu (three dots) button next to a campaign in the list and select Edit Campaign.

Make changes to any of the configuration options listed in the Create a Campaign section.

Activate or Deactivate a Campaign

Ongoing campaigns can be activated (set to send each day) or deactivated (stopped from sending each day) from Campaign Manager.

To activate or deactivate a campaign:

  1. Click Campaigns and select Campaign Manager.
  2. Click the menu (three dots) button to the right of the campaign and select Activate Campaign/Deactivate Campaign from the menu.
